Gravity Wave

Toba engineers from the Toba Material Handling Phyle were in the lab working on designing the Shell of Freedom - a spherical forcefield designed to protect a Rocket Dog - when a screwdriver slipped and fell across two wires, shorting them out. The full charge of the powerpack was dropped into the force field generator in a second, not trickled in over minutes or hours, and the result was instead of merely slowing down items that crossed the forcefield, the forcefield grabbed everything in the lab - including the Toba researchers! – and pulled it into one big pile atop the force field generator.

Though the final product required some tuning, that was the genesis of the Gravity Wave - a force field generator that reaches out and applies a heavy drag to all other nearby Rocket Dogs.
