Acid Rain

The Toba have not had Acid Rain on Quantum Prime for millennia - once they invented clean nuclear fission technology, their civilization rapidly transitioned away from burning dirty fossil fuels. Still, though, their history books talk about it, and as the Toba Rocket Dog project designers were coming up with a list of attacks, the idea was put forward and rapidly accepted.

The Acid Rain attack looks like a dark gray storm cloud that pours out bright green rain, but the actual implementation is a holographic projection that creates the illusion, plus a small spray grenade that douses the area with a short-lived industrial lubricant - making it very likely that a Rocket Dog will lose an object from his paws or pockets - and good luck finding it again when the holographic projector is casting an illusion to hide anything that was dropped!
